Spicy Shrimp in a Creamy Sauce. Piquant and easy to prepare.

I should admit that I am not the person that will try and eat absolutely everything. I guess, I am not that brave or adventurous enough. So not every kind of the seafood is landing on our kitchen table, but I absolutely love the shrimp. I usually buy the cooked shrimp, but you can also use the raw ones, it will only take a couple of more minutes to prepare. Creamy, tasty, and flavorful shrimp in a spicy sauce is a delicious treat! Quick and easy - it is ready within half an hour from the time you pool the frozen bag of cooked shrimps from the freezer and until it lands hot and tasty on your dinner table. It's great as an appetizer or with spaghetti or rice, making it a perfect main dish. Make it on the busy weekday nights or to impress your guests with this colorful and tasty dish.  

 

Ingredients

400 gr of frozen cooked shrimp, tail off, thrawed
1/4 cup 35% creme
3 tbsp. seafood tomato sauce
2 garlic cloves
1 tbsp. butter
Seafood spice blend. pepper, salt to taste
Parsley for garnishing (optional) 

Directions

Spicy Shrimp in a Creamy Seafood Sauce

Thaw the shrimp. If you don't have time, place them under the running cold water in a colander for 5 minutes to defrost them. 
Remove the tails if you have shrimp with tail on. 
In a frying pan, over a medium heat, melt the butter. Add the shrimp and sprinkle with the spices, salt and pepper.
Add the crème, squeeze and add the garlic, and a seafood sauce. 
Mix it and cook it for about 5 minutes. 
Garnish with chopped parsley.
Enjoy it as an appetizer or serve it with spaghetti or rice for an amazing main dish.
