Berry Parfait with Vanilla Yogurt and Almond Granola - delicious way to start your morning!

What a nice way to start your day with something fruity and colorful! Recently, as the spring weather became nicer and warmer, I wanted to spruce up our breakfast weekend routine to bring the feel of spring and summer to our kitchen. So, good bye a hot oatmeal and hello to a Fresh Berry Parfait! Yummy! The fun of this recipe that you can play with the ingredients and change to the one you like better, for example, if you are not a fan of Vanilla Yogurt just use the plain Yogurt instead, or if you have in your kitchen a regular granola, take it up a notch by adding roasted almonds, flax, or chia seeds. This breakfast parfait is a healthy and filling way to start your day! You can eat it not only for breakfast, but for mid-morning or afternoon snack or for dessert. And the best part? It's delicious!

Makes 1 portion of 500 ml parfait glass

Ingredients

1 cups 2% Vanilla Yogurt
¼ cup Almond Vanilla Granola
1 cups Fresh Berries (Raspberries, Blueberries, and Strawberries, sliced)

Directions

In a parfait glass,  assemble the parfait by adding a layer of yogurt (a bit less than a half) to the bottom of the glass. Next add half of the granola and top with berries (a bit less than a half).
You can make each layer of a different berry or both layers of mixed berries. Repeat the layers one more time: yogurt, granola, berries.
Top it with the remaining yogurt and berries.
