Juicy and  flavorful Chicken chops - tasty and easy to make!

These juicy and tasty chicken chops are very easy to make and great for the whole family. The little kids who love chicken nuggets will especially enjoy these chops if you cut them to smaller - nugget or finger size - pieces. My daughter, when she was younger, always asked me for these “chicken nuggets”.   
Chicken chops are great with your favourite potatoes, pasta, rice, a fresh salad or sautéed vegetables.

Ingredients

6 boneless chicken chops
3/4 -1 cup Italian Flavored Bread Crumbs
1 large egg
6 tbsp. oil 
La Grille Montreal Chicken Seasoning
Salt, pepper to taste

Directions

Wash and clean the chicken from any fat or bones. To make the chicken chops, I buy boneless chicken breasts and cut them along, horizontally to get nice and flat chops. I freeze the trimmings and use them later to make Chicken cutlets

Place the chicken chops on a cutting board, cover them with plastic wrap and pound gently with a meat mallet until about 1/4 inch thick.  Remove the wrap. Season the chops with Montreal Chicken Seasoning. If you don’t have one, use the spices you have on hand, like garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, dry parsley, and red pepper.

In a small bow beat the egg. Place bread crumbs in a shallow plate.

Dip each chicken chop in egg and then in bread crumbs making sure that the chops are coated well. I should mention that instead of breadcrumbs you can use an all-purpose flower or Panko which are the Japanese-style breadcrumbs.

Heat oil in skillet over medium heat until hot. Add chicken chops and fry them for about cook 5-7 minutes on each side or until nice golden brown.

Fried Chicken Chops
Remove the chops from the frying pan and place on a paper towel to absorb the oil.

Serve Chicken Chops warm with mashed or baked potatoes, rice or pasta.
